Saint Jeannet

Varietal

100% Saint Jeannet

Vineyards

Allamand Vineyard

Vintage

Hand-harvested in April 2023

An unusual and refreshing white wine. This Saint Jeannet 2023 showcases the uniqueness of a heritage grape variety rescued and named by Pedro Rosell and Cristian Allamand, of which there are less than ten hectares planted in Argentina.

Made with minimal intervention to express its character, it offers a dense and textured profile, voluminous on the palate, yet tense and pure. In the style of an Alsace Pinot Blanc, it displays notes of Williams pear and white peach, with acacia flowers and a subtle hint of bread dough/lees; touches of ripe citrus and a mineral trace (chalk/wet stone) close a long and slightly salty finish.

With just 9.5% alcohol, it is highly drinkable and fresh, maintaining depth and texture thanks to the work on lees; a different, precise, and memorable white.
